About the author
Hello, my name is Yaffa Motil, and I am the author of three books.
My first book, “The Story of the Red City,” published by Keter, is a compelling novel that became a bestseller and gained recognition in the literary world. President Shimon Peres wrote a handwritten review of the book, which also received coverage in the newspapers Yedioth Ahronoth and Maariv, and on Channel 1 television.
My second book, “In the First Circle of Darkness,” is a poetry collection published by Hadarim. It is a journey through poems about life, possibilities, and blindness — poems that provoke thought and spark the synapses in the reader’s mind.
My third book, “Bib and I,” is a work of autofiction published about six years ago. It recounts my journey with Israel’s prime minister in 1988, at the beginning of his political career.
