The service
Sipurly is a digital library for Hebrew books, operating as a managed pilot: authors join in coordination with the team, and upload and manage their books themselves through the management interface. The service offers a public catalog, book purchases, and online reading or listening in the browser.
Reader accounts
- Purchasing and accessing books requires a personal reader account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential.
- Accounts and book access may not be transferred to others. Access is limited to a reasonable number of devices in order to protect the works.
Purchases and payment
- Payment is made on a secure checkout page operated by the payment provider PayPlus. Credit-card details are not provided to this website.
- Once the payment is confirmed, the book is added to your personal library for online reading or listening.
- Cancellations and refunds are subject to applicable Israeli law, including the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981. For cancellation requests, use the contact form.
Intellectual property and fair use
- The rights in the books belong to their creators and rights holders. A purchase grants a personal right to read and listen online only.
- Copying, recording, downloading, distributing, or selling content from the service is not permitted. Reading pages include practical protection measures, including personal watermarks.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is, as part of a pilot. We work to keep the service available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, fault-free operation. Nothing here derogates from rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Israeli law.
